PlayerUnknown BattleGrounds (PUBG) has released a new beta update for its mobile app. The beta version of version 0.13.0 is being deployed with many new features, weapons and a stable Vikendi card.
One of the new additions to the game is the Godzilla event. Tencent, the developers of PUBG, has teamed up with the upcoming movie Godzilla 2: The King of Monsters and has organized a special event to promote the film. For the event, PUBG has developed a special loading screen and added new avatars. While playing, users could find Godzilla’s fingerprints at Erangel, near the Sosnovka military base. Users can also spot Godzilla on Spawn Island.
The developers have also introduced another mode called Team DeathMatch. In this mode, two teams compete with an unlimited number of respawns. At the end of the match, the team with the most wins wins the game. Each game would last up to 10 minutes.
The new beta update also brings a stable Vikendi card. The snow map was in beta since its launch last year. With a stable card, players may encounter minor problems playing Vikendi. A secret cave called New Podvosto has also been opened. It contains Level 3 items and rare weapons like AWM and AUG3. However, to obtain these objects, players will have to go by snowmobile or bicycle to enter the cave.
A new weapon called Bizon has been introduced into the game. The new pistol, already available in the PC version of the game, uses 9mm bullets and is currently exclusive to Vikendi and Erangel.
Finally, a Kar98K skin called Terror Fang has been added. Other new additions include an abandoned factory in Zombie mode, MVP emote and new male voices.
